Kihei Akahi is located in Kihei across the street from Kamaole Beach #2. This beach is an excellent beach for swimming and sun bathing. The property is basic and is good for the budget-minded traveler. Some of the property amenities include 2 pools, tennis court and BBQ areas.  

All of the units at Kihei Akahi are comfortably furnished. Every unit has a full kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. Every unit also has air conditioning (living room), high-speed internet access (fee), hair dryer and a washer/dryer. The property has studios, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units. The studios sleep 2 people. The 1 bedrooms sleep 4 and the 2 bedrooms sleep 6 guests. The 1 and 2 bedroom units have sleeper sofas in the living room.  

The Kihei Akahi is centrally located in Kihei and is convenient to shops and restaurants. It is also just a short drive into the Wailea resort area. The property will be undergoing a parking lot and roadway paving project beginning on June 23, 2010 with a scheduled completion date of September 20, 2010. The work will be done in phases with the following schedule: Parking Lot D building: June 23-July 7; Parking Lot B & C building: Jule 5-July 17; Parking Lot A building: July 19-July 29; Roadway: July 26-September 3; Seal Coating D Parking Lot and Re-striping all Lots: September 5-September 19. This schedule will allow the property to keep disruption to guests staying in adjacent buildings to a minimum as the work scheduled will be done by buildings. The managment company and staff will do everything possible to minimize any guest inconvenience.
