The Aqua Island Colony is a mid-range property located in Waikiki. The property is near the International Marketplace and is about 3 blocks to the beach. Some of the property amenities include a pool, sauna and jacuzzi. The property also has a sundry store and Wi-Fi in the lobby.  

The Island Colony units are moderate, but comfortable. All units are air conditioned and also have cable TV, microwave, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, safe and a balcony. The 1 bedroom condominiums have a full kitchen while the studios have a kitchenette. Non-smoking condominiums are available and must be requested at the time of booking. The property offers hotel rooms, studios and 1 bedroom units. The hotel rooms and studios will accommodate 4. The 1 bedrooms will sleep 5 guests with a rollaway (fee).  

Guests will enjoy the location of the Island Colony. Shops and restaurants are just a few minutes' walk away. The Ala Wai Canal is directly across the street. Beginning on September 27, 2010, the property will be closing the swimming pool and hot tub on the 6th floor for repairs and upgrades. The work is expected to take approximately 3 months and will be done Monday-Friday between 8:00AM-4:00PM. There will be some noise during this renovation period. The surrounding recreational deck area will remain open and will be available for sun bathing. The sauna, laundry facilities and mini-mart will continue to be available for guest use during normal hours of operation. The General Manager and staff will do everything possible to minimize any guest inconvenience.
